Server selection

Ok, time to choose which server we'd like to start on.

Choices at the moment are:

Shadowlord, Emperor, Garland, Golbez, Exdeath, Kefka, Sephiroth, Ultimecia, Jecht, and Gabranth.

Select which you'd like in the poll, post a reply to the thread explaining your choice, and understand that the Sephiroth server is going to be the new Odin (full year round, laggy, longer wait times to sign in etc.)

Whichever name gets the most votes will be the server we will join as a linkshell. My first priority on the 22nd will be meeting up with people get getting this linkshell organized in game.

I vote Gabranth server. I like the name and he was pretty badass in FFXII so. Plus it sounds cool. "Yeah, name's Kailok, from Gabranth" <- how I pick up the ladeez.

i picked Exdeath(x) becauses it is so brutalz

Exdeath sounds like Death just got lazy and quit killing people.

I'm the foo that chose shadowlord, but come to the realisation that it's going to be full of people saying "this/that was better in ffxi" or "This is stupid in ffxi, we did this...." ect.

I think FFXIV is gonna be full of people that say that regardless. We're gonna have way more veterans than we probably though we were. It also still aggravates me that some of my friends who play FFXI refuse to play it 'cuz they don't wanna start over, regardless of how fun/good it looks..their crappy choice i guess.

Nah, i'm pretty sure he intends to play it at some point assuming he gets a better pc or a ps3. but there were ALOT of ppl bitching about this game just because they cant transfer characters.....which is just stupid because IT'S A DIFFERENT GAME! if you dont wanna play it, dont play it, but dont bitch to other ppl because you have an issue with starting something new games come and go, if you don't wanna let go of XI fine, but WHEN that games' servers go down....let's see what you're gonna do then

Yeah I have a feeling after everyone gets their special boots for paying for both, the server numbers are gonna drop by the buttload. I just don't see FFXI lasting very long

i see it lasting ATLEAST another year, just because of all the stuff coming out with the abyssea expansions. AF3 hellz yea. tho yea the numbers are gonna drop pretty quick
