I never understood those things... I mean, I get the basic premise, it's Simon with a different control device than the light disk... but why enslave oneself to the whims of a device much smaller than you for no purpose other than a numerical assessment of your ability to follow simple directions at speed?

I suppose it would provide a good skill development regimen were one pursuing a career in an assembly line, but that's what they have robots for, ne?

lol it's mainly for kids for one :P it's to get hand eye and listening coordination down as it gets faster. Damn thing is tough once it gets pretty quick.

Yeah, I'm doing a total restart every time. The list of servers has been changing and stuff, but Mysidia never shows up :(

I don't think that service is up yet =/ I'm hearing it changes every day, but I assure that they'll reopen it on the 30th (SE release). Which sucks if you got the CE since you couldn't play until SE release..voids the idea, but oh well =/ I doubt they'd release the game and block the servers on the full release of the game.

I know this sounds dumb but did you scroll down? I remember not seeing the server on the list initially, then seeing the scroll bar on the right.

After doing lots of tinkering, cleaning the dust out of my laptop, messing around with drivers trying to get SLi to work and such, I've finally got FFXIV in a playable state. Much more enjoyable now that I can actually--you know--play the game.

When do I get my linkshell invite?

Just find one of us and you'll get it ^^ Haze, Eurik, and Pyrnn are the ones online MOST of the time, so it'd probably be easier to find them before anyone else and get an invite (I'm pretty sure Thal made them officers to invite people)..
