Re: Poptarts and Doritos
You eat them seperately? Or do you make a Dorito sandwich with Poptarts as the bread? Because if its the latter I would recommend Toaster Strudels as the bread instead of Poptarts

Wtf is a sweet baby jherkin? Sounds like a piece of armor made for babies that you occasionally chew on (as long as there's no baby inside it. Unless you eat babies, then..well, do your thing I guess.)

I have to admit that poptarts and doritos are questionable, but don't dis the PB and Jherkins til you try it!
But maybe this combination will better suit peoples palates... Macaroni and Cheese and applesauce (thank you Switzerland )

Re: Poptarts and Doritos
They aren't salty! And maybe it is Gherkin... I could have spelled it wrong.... who knows.
But the macaroni and cheese I had in Switzerland was not only the best damn mac and cheese I've ever had in my life, the applesauce was equally amazing, and they go really good together. Maybe it was just because of the combination of the three different kinds of REAL cheese they used, not some boxed stuff. But it was heaven...
And whats a Branston pickle? Is that like dill?

Re: Poptarts and Doritos
gogo wiki
Branston Pickle is made from a variety of diced vegetables, including swede, carrots, onions, cauliflower and gherkins pickled in a sauce made from vinegar, tomato, apple and dates with spices such as mustard, coriander, garlic, cinnamon, pepper, cloves, nutmeg and cayenne pepper with sugar. In recent years high-fructose corn syrup has replaced sugar in the product sold in the North-American market. Sugar is still used in the British version.
Branston Pickle is sweet and spicy with a chutney-like consistency, containing small chunks of vegetables in a thick brown sticky sauce. It is commonly served as part of a ploughman's lunch, a common menu item in British pubs. It is also frequently combined with cheddar cheese in sandwiches, and most sandwich shops in the UK offer "cheese and pickle" as an option. It is available in the standard 'chunky' version, as well as a 'sandwich' variety, where the vegetable chunks are smaller and easier to spread. In recent times, Premier Foods have also brought out a 'squeezy' variety in a plastic bottle. There was also a spicy type made for a short time, but this did not prove as popular and is now hard to find. In December 2007 Premier announced it was adopting the Timestrip smart label[2] technology on jars being sold through Tesco in the UK. The Timestrip would help communicate the Period After Opening date (8 weeks) to consumers.
long winded but its delicious

So it's like a reslish more than a pickle? It sounds kinda tasty. I'd try it! And seeing as it's here, apparently, I'll have to look for it.. Maybe Wegmans will have it...

Re: Poptarts and Doritos
Those weren't rocks! It was cracked wheat... The same stuff you make tabouli with.... which is a kind of salad.... but the stuff I made for my Frech class was called Kibbeh. It's made with hamburger (though traditionally it's ground lamb) and cracked wheat, some onion, and seasonings like allspice, cinnamon, salt and pepper. It can be baked or fried, and it's delicious! I love my Lebanese heritage. So much tasty food...

Yeah, my great grandmother migrated from Lebanon, and apparently she only spoke Lebanese so I'm like....1/8th Lebanese I think... which is why my skin isn't dark like Lebanese people.

I like spicy food to a certain extent. As for lemons... only in water of with fish or something.. too sour by itself.
But gotta love those pickled sea snails!

Hey, you wanted something weird, so I thought up one of the weirdest things I've ever eaten. Though I recall trying lamb tongue when I was younger... or maybe it was a cow... I think it was a cow.. anyway.. not very appealing. Other than that, raw fish. Tuna's yummy :3

Hm... Guess I'll chime in.
Chicken Waffles.
Take a belgian waffle, or, well, whatever type of waffle you choose really. Eggos aren't optimal, the good ones are the ones ya gotta make yourself.
Apply shredded, pan fried unbreaded chicken. Make sure you get some good coverage going, the goal is to ensure you get some chicken in each bite of waffle. Use the waffle's crenelations to assist in spreading the chicken.
Garnish with all forms of cheese, taco/burrito fixins, et al. I don't recommend maple syrup
