[Do you have] [them]?
I can't be the only cowboy on here. Anyone else own a weapon?
I just paid for my 1st one, a Sig P226R in .40 S&W. Still on CA's stupid 10 day wait period before I can pick up my new partner.
Post em if you own em!

I own a bunch of collector swords but no firearms. However, I'll be starting to purchase airsoft guns once I start directing

I have a .44 Desert Eagle that I got from my uncle. I used to take to the range often with a few friends, but ammo has gotten kinda hard to find without paying out the wazoo for it online... Living in FL, there are tons of shops that will get em in, but all of the crazy rednecks around here horde it all, especially 9mm... -.-

Hehe... I have a bunch of swords too, and an airsoft G36C.
Then my career told me "buy a real steel or be stuck in the lower pay register for your entire life."
Thus, the P226.
I considered 9mm, but opted to go with .40 S&W rounds because Federal HST rounds make me smile, and because federal guard companies want .38 and .40. 9mm is a nice caliber though, lots of punch available in it with powerball ammo. My guard instructor spoke of a testing round he did where a 9mm powerball round penetrated the front and back of level 3 body armor. Better penetration than .45 HydraShok and a couple of others.
Sympathy on the .44 ammo. You're still maintaining the weapon though, yes?

the most durable piece of Russian ingenuity you'll find out side a a cure for aids that they had that got shut down due to underfunding. although their cure was another virus that would evolve and fight the aids viruses.... that only sounds good until it evolves in to a "T" viruses of sorts and creates zombies. maybe thats why they shut it down. fear of zombies.

Re: [firearms]
Woo! Just got my weapon! Cleaned it up, took it to the range and put 100 rounds of 180 gr. Federal FMJ rounds through her, and she worked absolutely perfectly. Then I got to take her home and clean and oil her again.
Fun stuff. Targets could've used some work though, probably due to my firing 180 gr. instead of the weaksauce reloads I used previously. Not used to that snappier recoil with the 180 gr. but eventually I'll get it ironed out. Then again, by "used some work" it's in reference to 3 rounds falling outside of the 9 ring on a standard silhouette. 3 still scoring shots out of 100 ain't bad at all. :P
Must... get... aim... down to... 10 ring only!

Re: [firearms]
180 gr just leaves too much room for error for me. I like to have shots that can handle the higher pressures that the .40 can put out.
