Dungeon Defenders!
This is a new tower defense game that incorporates roleplay classes with a leveling and gear system along with uniquely customizable ability/spell trees. Currently there are four classes that I can see, a Knight a Wizard a Ranger and a Monk. Gear drops from enemies during waves as well as can be bought from the in-game shop. Looks freakin fantastic and I hope to see some of you getting interested in it as the release comes closer and closer. It will be released for PC/XBLA/PSN in Q3 2010, sometime this fall. Enjoy the vid (watch it in 720p :P) Here is the link for the home page Dungeon Defenders!
Btw, don't mind the video quality, the game is going to be VERY pretty lol. Here is an HD 1080p shot with a little more of a sharper screen.

idk what the price is gonna be, but being and xbla game im sure it will be like $15 MAYBE $20. And steam is gonna have it, they have a page already up for it. I might get it for both just because the PC version is coming with map editing stuff too, but def getting it for console since most ppl i know of are gonna be gettin it for that as far as i know. I prefer to play multiplayers on consoles rather that pc. trying to lean away from mouse/keyboard, get used to controller again. GET IT FOR BOTH IF YOU CAN FOO!

Seems there will even be "Familiars" in the game, which are pets that come along for the ride providing status and gameplay effects. You can also trade them with friends just like equipment and gear. As for whether they "drop" like other gear or simply purchased remains to be seen.
We will see pets such as this cute lil guy here:
Personally I want something a little more FEROCIOUS!

Re: Dungeon Defenders!
yea, what i love most is that it takes aspects of so many genres and combines it all into one great fit. What makes games like this so addicting is that even though it's all about simply defending the crystals (more modes and game types, just haven't been released to media) it never gets old. There is always something new. New levels, new gear, new abilities, etc. It keeps you coming back for more this way, making the "replayability" of this game endless and ever evolving.
